Even those among the "Twilight" faithful must admit there are some moments in the film series that were made of pure cheese.
Consider director Chris Weitz's bonus glimpse in "The Twilight Saga: New Moon." In a mind vision shared by Alice (Ashley Greene), Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) frolic merrily through the woods as vampires ... in super slo-mo. Even Weitz himself regrettably admitted to the L.A. Times, "I've never been at a screening of the film in which people didn't laugh at it."
He isn't alone in drawing out "Twilight" theater crowd giggles over the years, though. In fact, each and every installment to-date has had at least a couple of meme-worthy quotables. Judging by the TV spots and trailers for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" — what with Aro (Michael Sheen)'s little "Oh my!" and Edward's "same temperature" cooing — the trend will likely continue on to the last installment, too.
To commemorate those moments which had us either chuckling (or sometimes cringing) in our seats over the past four years, here's a gathering of our picks for the corniest lines of the series. Whether plucked straight from Stephenie Meyer's books or concocted by "Twilight Saga" screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, these quotes still make us LOL.
